No Legal Advice
HRWS is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Our website content, publications, tools and services are HR guidance and best practice. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney. When a matter needs a legal opinion, we recommend involving employment counsel, and we are glad to work alongside your attorney.
No Compliance Certification
Completing the HR Health Check, an HR assessment or an audit does not certify that an organization complies with any law. Results identify strengths, gaps and areas for further review.
No Guaranteed Outcome
HRWS does not guarantee any employment, legal, financial or business outcome. Each client engagement is governed by a written agreement between HRWS and the client.
Fractional and Interim HR Leadership
When HRWS provides fractional or interim HR leadership, HRWS serves as an independent contractor, not an employee, officer or agent of the client, unless a written agreement says otherwise. The client keeps final authority over, and responsibility for, its employment decisions, policies and legal obligations. HRWS does not act as a benefit plan fiduciary, payroll provider or legal representative.
Training
HRWS training provides practical HR guidance and skills. Completing a session does not certify compliance with any law, and training content is not legal advice.
Professional Search
HRWS presents candidates; the client makes all hiring decisions and is the employer of anyone hired. HRWS does not guarantee that a candidate will accept an offer or perform as expected. Background checks and other screenings are ordered by the client under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable law.
